Social Impact :  Education is one of the most important means to improve personal endowments, build capabilities, overcome constraints and in the process, enlarge available set of opportunities and choices for a sustained improvement in well-being. The process of education and attainments thereof has an impact on all aspects of life. It is a critical invasive instrument for bringing about social, economic and political inclusion of people. Education can be used as a tool to empower the individual. Through child cantered learning, students are able to see their own role in transformation. Societal change comes from the collective transformation of the individuals within that society.

Fund Outlay : 3700000

The challenge of arranging funds is being met : Initially NEADS faced good challenges in raising fund, but gradually with dedicated volunteerism and good coordination with the donors like Oxfame India, Action aid India, CSD imphal etc by the founder members of the organisation helped them in project formulation in different areas such as education, agriculture, right based approach through proper advocacy etc. The good conduct as well as the quality of work plays a vital role in arranging and raising fund among the donors for developmental purpose.

This Award is going to impact the work in future : The literacy award 2017 would motivate us at large to work further as well as to analyze the pros and cons of the education as a thematic area. As we all know that, education is the backbone of our nation, therefore to build a nation, education is the significant area where we need to intervene for better development and in turn awards and support would play a vital role in this regard. It would remain as an inspiration and also would stand as a reference for further development of the organisation. The challenges and difficulties in the organisation always stand infront of the progress achieved. The challenges may from internal or external which the organisation is addressing & fulfilling till date. Often external collaboration in any activities of the projects delays in responding and simultaneously delays is other prospects of a project.
