Work in field of literacy : I have been contributing my efforts in social development sector since 17 years to aware and sensitize communities, Women, Adolescents, Youth groups, motivators, Village volunteers, front line workers, community institutions, middle level managers and senior management on following issues, Women Empowerment, Livelihood, Nutrition, Maternal health, Child health, HIV/AIDS, Polio, Behaviour Change Communication and Water and Sanitation. I have contributed my efforts with support of UNICEF, CARE, CRY, Path Finder International, SOIR-IM, CEDPA, IIHMR, PHFI WaterAid and different state governments in following states Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhatisgarh, Jharkhand, Telangana and Karnataka. 1. Year-1999 to 2000- CARE supported Nutrition project Integrated Nutrition and Health Project (INHP) at district Hardoi, U.P. During project sensitized Community, Women on Nutrition and Livelihood issues and front line workers on Nutrition related issues.

Social Impact : 1. Sensitize Community Women living at Delhi Uttar Pradesh Border slum named Shahid Nagar on legal issues, especially domestic violence. Formed a heterogeneous group of Women named Mahila Panchayat for fighting against domestic violence in year 2001. Total 700 women were member of that Panchayat. Community women were handling most of the cases at their community level without going to Police station. 2. Sensitized more than 2000 community youth NSS, NYK volunteers, community motivators in Polio Eradication Program 2003 to 2008 in underserved communities (especially Muslim community) of Western Uttar Pradesh. I had provided supportive supervision and sensitized 650 community mobilisation coordinator (Female) to eradicate Polio from Ghaziabad region (Ghaziabad, Noida and Bulandshahr). Today India is Polio free Country.

The challenge of arranging funds is being met : All the awareness and sensitization trainings/ workshops were funded by the different Social development Organisations like UNICEF, CARE, CRY, Path Finder International, SOIR-IM, CEDPA, IIHMR, PHFI, Water Aid and different State Governments

This Award is going to impact the work in future : Award would certainly going to impact my future endeavours. It would increase my moral, and motivation for me to do intensive work with more efficient way for social development sector. National level recognition would help me to share my innovative way of facilitation skills to others. Definitely it would be value addition for my future work.
