Work in field of literacy : After completing my tenure of Asst. director of Saksharata Mission of Alleppy District from 1990 onwards, involved myself as a District Level Saksharata worker, President of Paraspara Sahay Niddhi, a charitable organization founded on 1979. Its main function is encouraging school college education of the poor people. Every year, we are distributing uniforms and scholarships to the poor people & eligible students. I am also President of Souhruda the reputed charitable organisation. It conducts special basic coaching classes for S.S.L.C. students and giving them learning material for their studies. The organisation is also honouring the students who get higher marks in their exams. It also encourages whole Higher Secondary Schools of Alleppey to get 100% results.

Social Impact : Thousands of peopole bacame litrarte through literacy program of Sakshartha Mission. Hundreds of students became efficient in their educational field.

The challenge of arranging funds is being met : Saksharata work is done with the help of Govt. Aid. the Charitable and social works done by Paraspara Sahaya Nidhi & Souhruda are done by the donations received from the public & similar charitable societies

This Award is going to impact the work in future : Award amount will be spent for the upliftment of the poor students in their Higher Studies.
